Content Policy

Effective: October 17, 2026

Proof is a discovery directory for creators. Our job is to help visitors find real, verified creators — safely and without surprises. This policy explains what belongs on Proof and what doesn't.

1. SFW-only, everywhere

Proof is a strictly SFW (safe-for-work) platform. That rule applies to everything we publish, including:

• Listing thumbnails and profile images
• Creator bios and descriptions
• Category pages and editorial copy
• User-submitted reviews and ratings text

SFW means: no nudity, no sexual content, and no explicit text or imagery of any kind. If it wouldn't be appropriate in a workplace newsletter, it doesn't go on Proof. Creators whose off-site content is adult must describe it in neutral, non-graphic terms here.

2. 18+ audience

Proof is for adults only. Visitors must confirm they are 18 or older through our age gate before browsing the directory. We do not market to minors, and listings are not directed at anyone under 18.

3. Verification

The verified badge on Proof means a creator's identity has been checked through our verification process. Only identity-verified creators receive the badge.

• Verified listings carry the ✓ Proof badge and have passed identity verification.
• Sample or demonstration entries (if any) are clearly labeled as samples and are not real creators.

Verification confirms identity — it does not guarantee the quality of a creator's work, the accuracy of their prices, or anything about the platforms they use.

4. Prohibited content and behavior

The following are not allowed on Proof, in listings or in reviews:

• Impersonation — claiming to be someone you are not, or listing someone else's identity or likeness.
• Non-consensual content links — linking to or promoting content published without the depicted person's consent.
• Spam — repetitive, irrelevant, or commercial bulk submissions; fake reviews.
• Misleading claims — false follower counts, fabricated ratings, bait-and-switch pricing, or any statement designed to deceive visitors.
• Content involving minors, harassment, hate speech, or anything unlawful.

5. Review and moderation

Every listing is reviewed by our team before it appears on Proof, and we re-check listings on an ongoing basis. Reviews submitted by visitors are moderated before publication. We may edit or reject submissions that break this policy.

6. How to report a listing

If you see a listing or review that violates this policy, report it to us at [email protected] (PLACEHOLDER address — the live contact will be published at launch). Please include:

• The URL of the listing or review
• What rule you believe it breaks
• Any supporting detail (screenshots help)

We read every report and act on confirmed violations, typically within 5 business days.

7. Enforcement

When a listing violates this policy, we may:

• Remove the listing from the directory
• Revoke the creator's verified badge
• Reject or delete violating reviews
• Permanently bar repeat offenders from submitting listings

We aim to enforce this policy fairly and consistently. Serious violations — impersonation, non-consensual content, anything involving minors — are removed immediately and may be reported to the relevant platform or authorities.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Proof grows. The current version is always published here, and the effective date is shown at the top of the page.
